Who is Lose Weight Then Keep It Off for?

It is for ladies who want to lose up to 3 stone. Even if you just want to lose a few pounds and to make sure you don’t gradually increase in weight as you get older, this plan could help you.  If you have more weight to lose then this will take longer of course but I don’t promise any ‘quick fixes’.  The more slowly the weight comes off the better and if you do this consistently, you are much more likely to achieve your weight loss goal.

This is a healthy eating plan not a ‘diet’ and so it can be tailored to your needs. I do have ladies joining the Plans who don’t need to lose weight but do want to learn about nutrition and health or who want to reduce their body fat but not their overall body weight. It can work for poor digestion and helping to increase energy levels too.

I have tried all sorts of plans before – what do I need to do to make this work for me?

You need to be ready to make the changes needed to your diet and lifestyle and you will need a ‘can do’ attitude.  If you think you just need to turn up to lose weight or you don’t do the homework then it just won’t happen for you but as long as you can give commitment and some time you should be able to get the results you desire.  I only accept motivated ladies on my Plans and if you are sceptical or a whiner, or only willing to give it less than 80 %, please do not join any of my Plans.  I like to spend my time helping ladies who really want to make a better life for themselves, no matter what.

Is there anyone this won’t work for?

It won’t work for you if you are not willing to put the time and effort in.  Changing your lifestyle and losing weight can be a journey and you need to dedicate the time to do this.  It also won’t work if you believe that ‘your way is best’, even though you still haven’t lost weight yet or if you aren’t prepared to accept and have a go at all the principles I will be teaching you, even if they seem a bit ‘out there’. Some health conditions need extra support and help that I am not able to give.

What kinds of foods are included in the Plan?

All sorts.  There will be some new ones for you to try I expect, and there may be a few you eat regularly that need to be restricted or eliminated for a period of time during the early stages of the Plan.  I will work with you to help you achieve balance and proportion in your eating so that you lose weight consistently.

What is it like following the Plan?

This is a very common question and there just isn’t a single answer I can give.  The initial part of each Plan is very similar and yet in the feedback, I get a wide variety of comments. This is because we all perceive things differently and that is shaped by our past experiences and our thinking.  I really feel that how you find the Plan is down to you as a person so, generally, ladies who are on it to win and are positive and apply what they learn tend to do really well and, of course, they enjoy it.  Occasionally, someone who is really negative and doesn’t apply what they learn or ‘dips in and out’ will not get the results they wanted and so have a less positive experience.  If you trust me and come along to make the most of the Plan and learn, I am sure you will enjoy the journey :-).

But, I am really busy and don’t have any time for doing lots of cooking!  Can you still help?

Yes, of course I can help you. One of the things we look at early on in the Plan is how to reduce the time you spend cooking each day.  We also look at some simple techniques to help you find more time in your busy schedule so that you feel less overwhelmed and more able to dedicate the time you need for YOU.

Will I have to take supplements or do any tests?

Not necessarily.  However, if I feel that you need these I will always make a recommendation and give you the justification.  It is up to you whether or not you take action.

What results can I expect?

Typically, ladies lose up to a stone in the first month, although the weight lost will depend on how much weight you have to lose in total and also on a number of other factors related to your personal biochemistry.  Some ladies report improved sleep and better energy levels.  Other benefits experienced include improved mood, relief from bloating, reflux and digestive discomfort, relief from weekly headaches, joint pains gone, sugar cravings gone, clothes fitted better, more confidence in the way they look, generally feeling happier.  And many ladies report that they have started to love shopping for clothes again as they feel so much better because they look and feel good in their clothes again.

I am not sure if I am ready for this yet.  How can I find out if it is the right choice for me?

I would love to do this but I don’t have the money – what do I do?

Well done for deciding to move forward with this.  If you sit and do nothing, likely you will still be in the same place you are now next month, next year or more.  So, the thing to do is to recognise that you want to make this happen and then do whatever it takes to get it.  This is an investment in your health and your future.  There is usually money around but you can’t always see it.  I had one lady say she didn’t have any extra money only to find out she had just booked a spa day out with her friend which would have covered the cost of the Plan.  Yes, the spa day is wonderful but if you really want to make some changes to your health, would it be the right choice?
